CALLING ALL GLEEKS!

Today I have some "Finn" inspired nail art. If you haven't heard, Corey Monteith the actor who plays "Finn" in the show Glee had passed last night, so heart breaking! I love that show so much and it makes my heart dance when I hear the songs they sing. A show never made me cry so hard like how glee did!

Okay, okay.. Back to nail art. For this mani I used Zoya - Chyna. Klean Color - White. Color Club - No Name (but the color is the red) NOPI - Hit The Lights. And Icing - Milky Way. All of my fingers have different inspirations from episodes of him on glee.

First up, my index finger, using Color Club - No Name and Icing - Milky Way, these are the colors of the McKinley high school football team and Cheerios uniform, Although Finns varsity jacket appears to be black, red and an off white. Next, my ring finger using KleanColor - White and Color Club - No Name, this is inspired by season 3 episode 6 when Finn challenged Santana and the trouble tones to a game of dodgeball. The reason I only put 4 "dodge balls" are because these are the only 4 seasons which we will have with Corey on glee. On my pinky I used Zoya - Chyna to show the slushies that were thrown at the " New Directions ". Last but not least, my middle finger, so simple but I have a reason for just laying one star there. I used NOPI because that's part of the color on the glee logo. The reason of the star being there is because in season 3 episode 9 Finn buys a star for Rachel BUT names it after himself so he'll be watching over her. He stated that there's already a star named Rachel Berry and she's "right here on earth".

It's so devastating to know he had a whole life ahead of him filled with nothing more than success. But besides that.. Overall I really liked the outcome of this mani and I hope for the best for Lea Michelle. " She was planning a wedding but now she has to plan a funeral. " R.I.P Corey Monteith 1982-2013.

Fourth Of July Nails!

Hello Lovelies! Sorry I haven't really posted anything, my nails suffered these past three weeks due to trying to shape my nails and failing horribly at it, but I finally got the hang of it and today I have some fourth of July nail art for you!

For this mani I used KleanColor - White ; Sally Hansen - Pacific Blue ; Color Club - No Name and Sinful Colors - Queen Of Beauty.

I did some stamping and a simple stripe design using striping tape. This nail art is rather simple but the striping tape was a little tricky, this was my first time playing with it so bare with me please! Haha overall I really had fun doing this and I love the outcome of it! I hope everyone is enjoying their fourth of July enjoying fireworks and a nice BBQ. I, however am gonna stay home and do some red, white and blue finger painting with my son! Hope you dolls enjoyed reading this! I'll try to post more posts, I plan on buying a lightbox this week with automatic lighting so I won't have to take swatches only when the sun is out. Hopefully it'll work out! So till next time polish addicts! ♥

365 Days Of Color

Hello dolls!

Today I have on the blog two indie polishes and a sugar scrub, YES a sugar scrub! Sweet smelling and delicious! ( not literally! I didn't taste it! ) lol!

Frolicking - A minty base with mini copper square glitters, holographic pink squares, violet/pink circle squares and tons of gold shimmer! This polish has been on my wish list for so long! It's such a pretty polish I love it! I'm not sure what it was but while applying my brush didn't pick up anything! It's like I picked up the brush and it was still dry! But after a little shake I managed to fix that problem and it applied beautifully! No fishing for glitter, it's so packed with glitter. Such a perfect color to wear on a sunny morning out!

Two coats over SC - Minty Apple.

Vagabond - A nude base with various sized royal blue glitters. My favorite one yet! This polish reminds me of blueberry muffins, yum! Applies beautifully as well and I cannot wait to wear this on a day out or maybe when I bake blueberry muffins! Haha.

Two coats over Catrice - Bonjour Chérie! No topcoat. My nails look so yummy!

Last but not least 365 days of color - sugar scrub. It comes with a cute little pink spoon so you could scoop up the desire amount you please. This was my first time trying a sugar scrub, any hand product at that! And I'm never going back again! I plan on ordering more sugar scrubs but in different scents! ( did I tell you she has various scents you could choose from?! ) I chose pumpkin patch since I'm a sucker for fall scents! My hands have never been so soft before I used her sugar scrub. It's so amazing and smells fantastic!

Bandit is a olive green with shimmer that dries as a matte finish. I love this polish so much! This polish would look so good on nubs! This polish made me want to file down my nails again! haha. I cannot wait to place my next order! Please go try her polishes out, you will not be disappointed!

Shown here is two coats with no topcoat but one coat would have been enough!

June Julep Maven Box Review.

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but today I have a subscription to review! Juleps June box, I chose the it girl box which comes with three nail polishes. I skipped the last two months of julep because I was getting quite bored with them, but I'm actually glad I didn't skip this one.

Here are the three colors I received, from L2R: Nan, Char, and Bess. I loved 2/3 formulas from these. I don't have any colors like these and I'm slowly growing onto them. New favorites? Maybe.

Nan: A red/orange almost a dark amber color. I LOVED this formula, I was so excited while I was applying it. Two easy coats! And this color is amazing. I have no colors like this in my collection either which gets me even more excited.

Char: A navy blue/deep violet, when applying my first coat it showed a violet but when I applied a second coat it showed navy blue. This formula was amazing as well, two thin coats! I also don't have a color like this in my collection.

Bess: A light blue, not a baby blue because this color isn't as light. This formula was to thin, and streaky which killed my excitement for this months maven box. Three thin coats plus topcoat to even out the streakiness. This color is really pretty though, to bad the formula ruined it.

I also won a golden ticket, which I don't know exactly is but I did receive this pretty sea foam green bracelet. I love bracelets so I got pretty excited when I saw this pretty one. The maven box also came with saltwater taffy which I found really unsatisfying so my honey quickly ate it. Lol but overall I really enjoyed this box and hopefully I'll enjoy next months as well. :)

Anniversary Nails!

Hello dolls! Today I have some polish doodles on the blog! (Get it? Ha!) I have tuxedo and dress nails, why may you ask? Because today's me and my honeys anniversary! A happy year and 11 months with him! I love you sugar! Anyways, I used Zoya-Chyna, Kleancolor-White, Essence-Black is back, and Catrice-Bonjour Chérie with some glitter placements as well!

And even though he's not much of a fan of my nail polish addiction he couldn't help but love this mani I did just for him!

Wanderlust Lacquer

Hey! Today I have on the blog THREE indie polishes from a very creative lady who's the founder of wanderlust lacquer!

I'll be going one by one with these beauties!

Rainbow Piñata - A white crelly with a bunch of rainbow colored shreds! Application went on smoother than I thought and I didn't have to fish for glitter! ;) I really did love this polish, I think I would've preferred it over a white base though, too bad I don't have a go to white :(!!

Ursula - A glitter topper (yum!) with a mixture of mini metallic turquoise squares and matte purple and hot pink medium and large size glitter. I LOVE this glitter topper. It automatically made me think of the little mermaid and I'm a huge sucker for Disney movies! I did have to fish a little  for the hot pink hex glitters but it was so worth it! It's such a beautiful glitter mix!

Anna Banana - A pink cream with multiple size purple, pink and blue glitter. This polish is so pretty and applies beautifully, again no fishing!

Three coats with topcoat.

Two coats over a regular black polish with topcoat.
